I’m sorry but skippers is the worst thing to happen to my dad. We went there for retina detachment, he was convinced to do glaucoma, cataract and retina detachment surgeries. He did retina detachment twice and his retina has been detached again!! After he did the surgery his eyes has never been the same. Mind you he never complained about photophobia but after the surgery the photophobia has been a thorn in his flesh. Don’t be deceived by anything fancy, they are just after the money and not the well being of their patients.They haven’t called to check up on him, no sympathy, no remorse, no compassion and no after surgery check up. After the surgery was unsuccessful he was dismissed without no remorse to look for another hospital. They wouldn’t recommend any hospital to him. If you have been diagnosed here check somewhere else to make sure the diagnosis is correct. If I could give zero stars I would cause they don’t even deserve one. THIS IS THE WORST EYE HOSPITAL EVER!!!

SKIPPER EYE-Q the one Opposite A.A. Rano Filling Station, Asokoro Abuja have excellent working tools and the doctors and any other staff have good relationships with patients or guests.
And the doctors are very good at their job.

Skipper Eye-Q services are professionally commendable. However, the ladies working at the eye hypertension testing room should do less of their telephone video watching and listening to their music while patients are waiting.

I had a bad experience with them especially the v.i branch. They lack experts and the only expert they have are the people that will check your eyes inside....But from the person that will dilate you to the people that helps with the eye glasses are dumb and lack expertise.

Courteous staff and professional doctors. Sometimes one may stay longer than anticipated because of the share number of patients to be attended to. Prescriptions for my dry eyes have been quite helpful. Overall, my experience has been good.

They helped me solve a problem I had struggled with for very many years and sort treatment for in many other facilities across the country, to no avail.

Skipper is a good eye hospital and well equipped with expert consultants and doctors. The only issue I have with Skipper is time management.There is always a crowd there, you can’t visit Skipper and leave in 30mins or even an hour. You practically spend the whole day there. I am just requesting that the management do something about this as people’s time is also valuable.

The set up of this business - especially the modern equipment - evince that they are good at what they do. The place is also easy to access; conspicuously located along Sanusi Fafunwa street in Victoria Island, Lagos.

However, service can be downright appalling with regards to waiting time. The place is always crowded and you can easily be kept waiting for hours - I spent over 4 hours waiting to see a Doctor and had to leave without seeing one. The staff were not helpful.

This is a sore point that needs to be remedied; it is sad enough that people who come here need urgent medical intervention and thus have to endure very long wait times - reminiscent of public hospitals.

Another tragic experience was with the convenience. The two male toilets (for a place which usually has over 50 patients at any time) are tiny and the one I used had no lock!

A good optical medical facility, but more attention should be paid to customer service and comfort.
